Receptionist - State Farm Agent Team Member

Position Overview

Claudia Salmon-Getz State Farm is hiring a full-time Receptionist in Tempe, AZ to help create a welcoming, organized experience for every customer who calls or visits the office. In this role, you will be an important part of the day-to-day operations of the agency, helping customers with routine requests, supporting the team, and making sure communication and follow-up stay on track. We are looking for someone who is friendly, dependable, organized, and ready to build a career in the insurance industry. Candidates who are fluent or proficient in Spanish and English are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers in person and answer incoming phone calls professionally
• Manage appointment scheduling, messages, and daily office communications
• Assist customers with routine questions, payments, billing inquiries, and service requests
• Direct more complex customer needs to the appropriate team member and ensure timely follow-up
• Document calls, customer conversations, and account updates accurately in the agency system
• Support the team with administrative tasks and help keep the office organized and running efficiently

Qualifications

• Previous customer service, administrative, retail, or office experience preferred
• Fluent or proficient in Spanish and English, preferred
• Friendly and professional with strong communication skills
• Organized, dependable, and able to manage multiple priorities
• Strong attention to detail and consistent follow-through
• Positive, team-oriented, and coachable attitude
• Willingness to obtain required insurance licenses

Pay range: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
