Responsibilities:
- hand stretching and topping pizzas with care and attention to detail throughout a busy, fast-paced service
- making multiple pizzas at a time in our wood fired oven and ensuring quality in each bake
- maintaining quality and consistency throughout the food we present
- preparing and stocking the line efficiently and consistently
- conducting inventory of ingredients/supplies and assisting with daily prep schedule
- supporting our dough program including dough balling and feeding sourdough starter as needed (opportunities for the right candidate to be trained in dough production as well)
- maintaining food safety/DOH standards throughout our operation
- helping to receive deliveries as needed
- setting up and closing your station daily
- working with the rest of the team as well as the FOH to provide excellent service
Requirements:
One year experience in a kitchen
Strong work ethic and attention to detail
Positive attitude and ability to work in a team
Flexible availability, but weekends are a must
Basic knife skills and food preparation skills
Food handlers certificate is a plus
