⭐ Pediatric Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Private Duty Nursing (Allendale, NJ)

Provide meaningful, life-changing 1:1 pediatric nursing care for an 11-year-old patient who relies on skilled nursing support. Affirmed Home Care is seeking a compassionate and experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to care for a pediatric patient in Allendale, NJ with quadriplegia secondary to a brain tumor , requiring G-tube feedings, suctioning, cough assist treatments, and mobility support in the home and school settings.

⭐ Available Shifts

Coverage Needed:

• Monday, Wednesday & Thursday: 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM (3:30 PM coverage may also be considered)
• Saturday & Sunday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

⭐ About the Case

• 11-year-old pediatric patient with quadriplegia secondary to brain tumor
• G-tube feedings and routine G-tube care
• Suctioning support throughout the day at home and school
• Cough assist treatments
• Wheelchair dependent
• Assistance with transfers, positioning, and mobility needs
• Consistent schedule with a supportive family

⭐ What You'll Do

• Provide 1:1 pediatric nursing care focused on safety, comfort, and clinical stability
• Manage and monitor G-tube feedings
• Perform suctioning and respiratory support interventions
• Administer cough assist treatments as ordered
• Assess and monitor respiratory status and overall condition
• Assist with mobility, positioning, and activities of daily living
• Collaborate with the family, school staff, and pediatric clinical team to ensure continuity of care

⭐ Pay Rate

LPN: $40/hr

⭐ What You Bring

• Active New Jersey LPN License
• Experience with G-tubes, suctioning, airway management, and medically complex pediatric patients preferred
• Current BLS Certification
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Valid driver's license preferred
• Physical exam within 12 months
• PPD or QuantiFERON within 1 year (or chest X-ray within 5 years)
• Proof of flu vaccine or approved exemption
