job summary:
Our client is seeking an Electrical Designer with 7+ years of experience in power plant and industrial electrical design. This remote-friendly role leads 3-4 drafters in creating complete electrical construction drawings using programs like AVEVA 3D. Bring your NEC knowledge and CAD expertise to deliver high-quality physical designs, schematics, and field support.

responsibilities:

• Supervise and direct a team of 3-4 drafters during the development of project design tasks and construction drawings.

• Create complete electrical construction drawing sets, physical layouts, and schematics for power stations and industrial facilities using 2D/3D CAD software (including AVEVA 3D).

• Perform thorough design reviews and quality checks on work produced by junior designers to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to NEC codes and industry standards.

• Coordinate across engineering disciplines, review manufacturer drawings to resolve physical interferences, and provide technical field support as needed.
