Job Description

Ashley | The Wellsville Group is growing, and our Batavia Distribution Center is looking for a Delivery Driver/Helper to join the team! If you enjoy staying active, working with a team, and being on the move, this is a great opportunity to build a career with a company that promotes from within.

In this role, you'll help move furniture from our distribution center to our showroom locations, ensuring every shipment is handled safely and arrives ready for our customers. From loading and unloading to assembling products and eventually driving a 26' box truck, you'll play an important role in delivering the quality experience we're known for.

What You'll Do

  • Safely lift, move, and handle furniture weighing 100 lbs. or more
  • Unload inbound furniture shipments using an RF scan gun
  • Pick product for showroom transfers
  • Load, transport, and unload furniture at showroom locations
  • Assist with assembling furniture and placing products throughout the showroom
  • Stand and walk for extended periods in a fast-paced work environment
  • Follow safety procedures and standard operating practices while meeting daily performance expectations

What We're Looking For

  • Previous warehouse or delivery driver experience
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • At least 21 years of age
  • Ability to drive a non-CDL 26' box truck
  • Willingness to work in varying traffic, weather, and business conditions
  • Ability to safely lift and move furniture weighing 100 lbs. or more
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • DOT Medical Card preferred
