Job Description

Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavior Technician to join our team. As a Behavior Technician, you will play a crucial role in providing care and support to individuals with autism and developmental disabilities in their home setting. This is an opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of others while gaining valuable experience in the field.
Responsibilities:
Implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
Provide direct one-on-one therapy to individuals with autism and developmental disabilities
Collect data on client progress and behavior
Assist with diagnostic evaluations and assessments
Collaborate with the treatment team to develop individualized treatment plans
Maintain accurate and confidential medical documentation
Follow all HIPAA guidelines and regulations
Ensure the safety and well-being of clients at all times
Skills :
Experience working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities
Knowledge of special education principles and practices
Familiarity with medical terminology related to behavioral health
Ability to provide patient care in a compassionate and professional manner
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
